Since 2011, M2M has been working against the deep social isolation that comes with poverty by supporting mothers to believe that anything is possible – for them and for their kids. The organization currently supports over 40 families, including approximately 100 kids! Through generous support from inspired community members, M2M runs a cooking program, is able to fund over 350 local grocery trips annually, secures scholarships for women & youth, supports workforce participation for moms, offsets the cost of arts, culture and sports programming for kids in the community, connects families to basic needs services – and perhaps most important – offers unconditional friendship, strong social ties, and connection for women who haven’t had enough of that in their lives. Volunteers carry out 100% of M2M’s on the ground programming!
